A YouTube video can be more than something students simply watch.
With a Video Challenge, you can turn a YouTube video into an interactive learning experience by adding questions at relevant moments throughout the video. Students respond as they watch, helping make the lesson more active and engaging.
To create and publish a Video Challenge:
- Go to Create Video Challenge.
- Paste your YouTube video link.
- Add your Challenge details and select Create Challenge.
- Add questions at relevant points throughout the video.
- Review your Challenge and Publish it.
Once published, your Video Challenge is ready to turn into a Dojo and share with your students.
Create Questions Faster with sensAI
Creating every question manually isn’t always necessary.
With sensAI, Kung Fu Quiz’s built-in AI, you can automatically generate questions from the content of your YouTube video. Once the questions are generated, you remain in control—you can review, replace, remove, edit, or add questions before publishing your Video Challenge.

- Choose the Challenge you want to create a Dojo for.
- Add the required Dojo details.
- Select the Dojo Mode that fits your lesson.
- Select Create and Share Dojo.
- Copy the Dojo Code or link and share it with your students.
Each Dojo receives its own unique code, making it easy for students to join the activity you’ve created.
Understand Student Performance with Dojo Insights
Sharing the activity is only part of the learning experience. Once students participate, Dojo Insights help you understand what happened afterwards.
With the Freemium Plan, you can see overall participation, pass/fail results, Challenge Accuracy Insights, and quickly identify top performers and students who may need follow-up.
Challenge Accuracy Insights also give you an overview of how many students answered questions correctly and incorrectly, helping you see where the class may have struggled.

- Go to the Dojo Insights section.

Not every lesson needs a YouTube video.
Create a Quiz-only Challenge when you want to assess knowledge, reinforce key concepts, run a quick revision activity, or create questions around your own lesson content.
You can choose from the available question types and add images or audio where appropriate to make the activity fit your lesson.
To create a Quiz-only Challenge:
- Go to Create Quiz-only Challenge.
- Add your Challenge details and select Create Challenge.
- Add your questions.
- Choose from the available question types.
- Add images or audio where appropriate.
- Review and Publish your Challenge.
- Create a Dojo and share it with your students.
Once published, your Quiz-only Challenge can be used for assessments, revision, practice, or even a Live Quiz.

How Can You Host a Live Quiz?
There are two ways to get started.
Create a New Quiz for Live
Start from Host Live, create your Quiz-only Challenge, add your questions, publish it, and then create your Live Dojo.
Once your Challenge is ready, add the required Dojo details and select Create and Host Live.
Use an Existing Quiz-only Challenge
Already have a published Quiz-only Challenge?
Select Host Live, choose your published Challenge, add the required Dojo details, and start the session.
Once your Live Dojo is created, share the Dojo Code or link with your students so they can join from their devices.
Make Revision Quick and Engaging with Flashcards
Sometimes students don’t need another full quiz—they just need a quick way to revisit key ideas.
Create simple question-and-answer Flashcards for warm-ups, revision, recaps, or quick knowledge checks. Flashcards are especially useful when you want to reinforce important concepts without running a full Challenge.
How Can You Create Flashcards?
- You can start directly from Create Flashcard on the Discover page.
- Or, go to the Challenges section, create a new Challenge, and select Flashcard as the Challenge type.
- Add your Challenge details and question-and-answer cards, then review and Publish your Flashcards.
- Once published, select Present to use the Flashcards with your class.
