From Classroom to Edu Content Creator: How I Make Learning Engaging

In today's classrooms, teachers are constantly looking for ways to make learning more engaging, interactive, and meaningful for their students. With the rapid growth of edTech and easy access to online resources, it has become simpler than ever to discover and choose tools that align with specific classroom goals.
As a Junior High School Arabic teacher, I enjoy exploring digital tools and integrating them into my lessons. Over time, it naturally extended beyond my classroom. I began sharing my teaching ideas, activities, and tools on social media, especially through TikTok, where I share the learning ideas and activities I use in my classroom.
The positive feedback I receive from my content makes me very happy, and it is a great way to connect with other teachers, exchange ideas, and hopefully help transform learning for students.
Utilising EdTech In Learning Arabic By Using Kung Fu Quiz
As we know, the development of information and communication technology in today's digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. I realised that I could no longer rely on conventional learning methods. I need to keep up with technological advances, so it remains relevant to the characteristics of students who are well-versed in technology.
When teaching Arabic in schools, I often encounter various challenges. Some students find the subject difficult, boring, and monotonous. This motivated me to create more interactive and fun learning experiences.
Therefore, I began exploring various digital learning media, one of which was "Kung Fu Quiz". By utilising this online quiz platform, I was able to integrate Arabic learning videos from YouTube to deepen students' understanding.
Here's how I use Kung Fu Quiz in my classroom:
I usually use Kung Fu Quiz as a pre-test before teaching the learning content. By embedding questions into the Arabic Language-related YouTube videos, students immediately answer the quiz while watching the videos.
This method gives them a head start in the learning process. And I noticed that this creates a more positive and competitive classroom atmosphere. Not just that, using video-based learning has also helped students enrich their Arabic vocabulary beyond what's found in textbooks.
Using Kung Fu Quiz in learning Arabic has become one of my concrete steps to create more effective, innovative, and enjoyable learning for students.
Motivating Students Starts with Us
As teachers, our role goes beyond delivering lessons. We shape how students experience learning. Thus, embracing innovative ideas in the classroom is not just a trend, it is a way to reflect on how you're making education more impactful for your students.
By leveraging the creative opportunities of these digital learning tools, every teacher can benefit by bringing creativity into lessons and making learning more engaging and effective for students. When used thoughtfully, they do not just support teaching. They transform the overall learning experience.
Driven by this desire to make learning engaging, I explore and share educational content that offers useful teaching tips and tools to support fellow teachers in their classrooms.
